Luigi Le Voci (1938 - 2015) graduated from the Liceo Artistico of Naples, to continue his studies and graduate in architecture at the Polytechnic of Turin. While still a student, he exhibited his works for the first time at the Valentino Castle in the Piedmontese capital. With the Parisian exhibition at the «Present Art» Gallery on Boulevard Saint Germain, Le Voci opened his own studio in the Ville Lumière, a city that would be, for many years, his favorite home and where he would discover the works of Marc Chagall, his primary source of inspiration. The landscapes of Paris will, over time, always be present in his exhibitions and the characters inspired by Chagall will soar over the red roofs of the city and float in the air and in the placid waters of the Seine. In 1976 he went to Milan, which gave him his greatest fame. In the following years he will continue to travel around the Paris-Milan-Turin triangle for his business and his travels will often provide the opportunity for new inspiration. Le Voci had a very complicated private life and died in his beloved Milan in 2015.
