Leone Romolo (Naples, 1883-Naples 1958) was an Italian painter. A pupil of Giuseppe Casciaro, he was greatly influenced by him on a stylistic level. In 1927, he joined the Flegreo group, a movement born with the aim of enhancing Neapolitan art in Italy and abroad, organizing and promoting collective exhibitions. He lived for several years in Paris, but remained a landscape painter and his main themes were country houses and city streets, always crowded with people in the excitement of city life.
