Born in Copenhagen in 1942, he lives and works between Denmark and the province of Piacenza. An informal and surreal painter, he made his debut at the beginning of the 1960s, presenting his works in collective and personal exhibitions in Europe, the United States, India and China. Around the second half of the Seventies he approached ceramics and during his stays in Italy he produced ceramic works at the "Ibis" factory in Cunardo which he then presented in some exhibitions in the spaces of the same factory in 1978, '79 and '83 . In 1980 he held a solo exhibition of ceramics at the Sala Comunale of Varese. In 1984 he was at the Gonzaga Castle in Monte San Savino (AR). In 1986 he exhibited some of his works at the Palazzo Ducale in Urbino. In 1987 another solo show of ceramics by the artist, entitled "The Earth takes shape" was presented by Gallery 11 in Varallo Piomba, in the province of Varese. In 1993 he was in Laveno, at the Ceramics Museum of Palazzo Perabo. In 1996 a new collaboration with the "Ibis" factory saw him present his works in the exhibition rooms of the Cunardo company and the following year an exhibition of his ceramics, many of which were made for the "San Giorgio" factory in Albissola, was hosted at Villa Durazzo in Santa Margherita Ligure. In 2001 he returned to the "Ibis" of Cunardo and the following year he exhibited some of his ceramic pieces at the "Amarcord Albisola" exhibition presented in Cortina d'Ampezzo. In 2003 he was in Albissola Marina, at the Circolo Bludiprussia with the exhibition Origini and the following year he presented his ceramics in the premises of the exhibition venue of the Province of Savona.
