Enrico Lionne, pseudonym of Enrico della Leonessa (Naples, 1865 – 1921), was an Italian painter and designer. Painter of intimate portraits, Enrico Lionne created illustrations for the publications Capitan Fracassa and Don Chisciotte. In 1895 he joined Divisionism, painting small genre scenes, focusing on the lower middle class. A stay in Paris brought him closer to some themes of impressionism. He was also a witty caricaturist and a famous contributor to the newspaper Il Giornale di Roma. His works are preserved at the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome. The Gallery of the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, where he trained, owns Colombian, oil on canvas, 150x80.
