Little Angel (New York, 1967). Angel Ortiz, also known as Little Angel, is a New York artist whose art was influenced, for a certain period, by Keith Haring, of whom he became a friend and collaborator. Together they worked on the creation of numerous works from 1981 to 1984, including enormous sculptures and installations, in 1994 they participated in the Milan Triennale with two-handed productions. Ortiz is mainly a graffiti artist who uses a particular calligraphy born from Asian ideogrammatic writing, a peculiarity that Haring was very interested in. He exhibits individually in important American, English and Italian galleries.
