Nino Lo Duca was born in Naples in 1940 but has always lived in Milan, with long periods spent in Venice and New York. He began his activity in the well-known Aragozzini studio where he created the first services for industry and advertising. In '69 he opened a studio and began a fruitful and never-ending collaboration with various periodicals on advertising, furniture, fashion, but above all art. There are numerous solo exhibitions dedicated to him both in Italy and abroad, but perhaps the one to which he is most attached is precisely the first, in 1972 at the Il Diaframma gallery in Milan, entitled Artists seen by Nino Lo Duca. From this exhibition then arose the idea of ​​the beautiful photographic book Arte e Fotografia published in '76. Art and photography merge/merge in Nino Lo Duca's creations.
