Romualdo Battista Federico Locatelli was an Italian painter born on April 4, 1905 in Bergamo and presumably passed away in 1943 in Manila. Coming from a family of painters and decorators, he began his career by decorating churches in the province of Bergamo before focusing on easel painting and studio work. He gained fame at the young age of twenty with his work "Pain" and went on to travel to different regions in Italy and eventually to the East, where he achieved success and recognition. His artworks can be found in collections worldwide, particularly in the Eastern region. In 2012, an exhibition dedicated to his family, which included various artists, was inaugurated in Bergamo.
