Giuliano Lunelli was born in Trento in 1966. From a young age he began working with wood, under the watchful eye of his father, a carpenter by profession. He draws plans for planes and ships and then makes them out of wood. After completing his studies at the Academy of Art, Giuliano Lunelli worked as a printer and photolithographer. This led him to become interested in painting and he enrolled at the European Institute of Painting in Milan. Back in Trento, he works as an illustrator at an advertising agency. In 1996, Lunelli took part in an exhibition of the "Artists of Bologna" and from there began producing works for children.
