(Viareggio, 1930).An engineering student at the University of Pisa, in 1953 he abandoned his studies to dedicate himself to painting and moved to Rome. In 1956 he was in Milan and participated in various exhibitions together with the painters of the Bergamini Gallery, taking part in the events of existential realism. One of his neighbors is a young singer-songwriter: Giorgio Gaber. A friendship was soon born between the two which led to artistic collaboration: the two wrote together the lyrics of the songs and theater shows that Gaber performed. The first collaboration between the two, however, was for a song performed in 1961 by Maria Monti, Sono le nine, which the singer presents on the album as "written by a painter friend of mine, who describes Milan just as a painter would represent it"; on the back cover the author's surname is erroneously reported as Luparini. His pictorial activity continues: Luporini exhibits paintings in the most important national exhibitions, obtaining recognition and prizes. In 2005 the Municipality of Pisa, in collaboration with the ADAC of Modena, dedicated a personal exhibition to him, set up at the Teatro Verdi.
