Sebastiano Maiellaro was born in Partinico, Sicily, in 1954. After graduating in biology, he worked for several years as a sales agent in the pharmaceutical sector. Sebastiano has been painting since the early years of his life and has never stopped. For many years he was a successful landscape painter and has recently experimented with new techniques and styles, such as abstract art. He has exhibited in several Italian galleries and his works are present in France, Germany, Canada, Great Britain, Romania, Belgium, Switzerland, Holland and Spain. He lives with his family between Portici, a town near Naples, and his house in the Sannio countryside.
