(Rome, 4 December 1936). He began his artistic activity as a poster designer for cinema and as a screenwriter, and participated as an interpreter in Federico Fellini's La dolce vita. He began painting towards the end of the 1950s and held his first exhibition in 1959 in Rome, at the Appia Antica Gallery. The following year he won one of the "Encouragement Awards" of the Gallery of Modern Art, and then exhibited at the Galleria La Tartaruga di Plinio De Martiis in 1963, 1964 and in the following years and frequented artists including Mario Schifano, Pino Pascali, Franco Angeli, Tano Festa, Mario Ceroli and Cesare Tacchi.
