Olli Veikko Mannermaa (1921 – 1998) was a Finnish interior designer. He graduated from the Academy of Arts, or the current College of Arts, in 1949. He himself taught structural drawing at the same institution in 1960-1971. Mannermaa had a long working career at Tehokaluste (now Martela). The classic Kilta chair (1955) designed by Olli Mannermaa is still part of Martela's collection. At the time of its creation Kilta was a revolutionary chair, as its structure was made from a single piece of expanded plastic. Kilta is still in production and the chair is part of the collections of museums such as the MoMA in New York.
