Lucia Marcucci (Florence, 29 July 1933) is an Italian artist and writer. In 1963 she created, by joining sheets in succession and filling them with printed phrases, L'indiscrezione è forte, which is her first technological collage poem. In the same year, Lucia Marcucci met the exponents of the Florentine Gruppo 70 and invited them to the Grattacielo to stage a first version of Poesie e no, a show curated by Eugenio Miccini and Lamberto Pignotti who would also be the actors together to Marcucci and Antonio Bueno. 1965 is the year of Lucia Marcucci's debut in Gruppo 70 in Palermo at the Gruppo 63 Festival, with a version of Poesie e no. From this moment on, a season of continuous experimentation will begin: Manifesto Poetry, Auditory Poetry, Cinepoetry (collage of old 16 mm films), Technological Poetry, Object/Subject Books and participation in debates, performances, festivals and conferences national and international. All the events that have followed one another since 1965 will be characterized by a strong happening experimentalism, whose dominant note is always the mix of languages. In the production of recent years Lucia Marcucci uses, in addition to the collage and digital techniques, also advertising images expertly manipulating the posters that cover the outskirts of the cities.
