Silvano Marinelli (1936 - 1979) was a cartoonist and illustrator. He was born in Ancona in 1936 and attended the Urbino Book School. He dedicates himself to the creation of theatrical costumes and illustration. The comic meets him in 1970 when he begins to illustrate the adventures of Steve Damon for the newspaper. At the same time he continues his passion for painting, paintings which are hosted in many exhibitions across the peninsula, attracting keen interest. The brilliant future was cut short by an illness and he passed away on 6 June 1979.
