Monica Marioni was born in Conegliano Veneto (TV) in 1972, but moved to the Vicenza area at a very young age where she still lives a few months a year. The degree in statistical sciences and the years spent within a large industrial group will prove to be fundamental in his educational path, more than the experience of the art institute. He has a strong bond with materials and this translates into the dense materiality of the works which are abstract first, and gradually more figurative later. Marioni considers the different artistic media as different brushes, each suitable to convey now one nuance, now another.
