Mauro Marzollo Biography
Mauro Marzollo was born in Venice. After completing his studies, he began working as a designer in Murano, where he learned the most refined glass processing techniques, which became important tools for his professional training marked by numerous goals. Subsequently Marzollo held the role of head of the Research and Design Department of "Lumenform", where he came into contact with important Italian designers such as Marco Zanuso, Angelo Mangiarotti, Cesare Leonardi, Claudio Salocchi and Ennio Chiggio. After becoming a freelancer, in 1980 he began collaborating with Itre, which placed him in charge of the Research and Design Office and product engineering. He has designed for: Lumenform, Effetre International, Modaluce, Bilumen, Piùluce, Sirrah, AV Mazzega, I Guzzini, ITRE, Murano Due, Aureliano Toso 1938, Alt, Ultraluce, Team Italia, Carlesso, Light4 and Panzeri. He currently works in the lighting and retail sectors.
