Luigi Massoni Biography

Renowned designer Luigi Massoni, born in Milan in 1930 and active in Milan, approached design after graduating by doing an internship at the Milan Architecture Collective. Around the mid-1950s he opened a collaboration with "Alessi" and in 1959 he became a designer for Boffi. In the same year, with the collaboration of some entrepreneurs in the sector, he founded "Mobilia", a center for the promotion of Italian design. Collaborator of the major design brands including Poltrona Frau and Guzzini, he created some drawings, starting from the end of the Sixties, for the "Arcore Ceramiche" factory.
