Jacqueline Melzassard was a French fashion editor and photographer. In the 1950s and 1960s she was fashion editor for L'Officiel de la Couture, L'Art et la Mode et le Jardin des Modes. Then, until 1983, she was a fashion photographer for Elle, Marie-France, Marie-Claire and photographer for the fashion-advertising campaigns of International Cotton Union, Woolmark (International Wool Union), synthetic fibers Courtaulds (England), Montefibre ( Italy), Bayer (Germany), Rhône-Poulenc (France), posters for Seita (tobacco), Essel (glasses), etc. Married to Jacques Moutin, editorial director of the Jardin des Modes and great publicist, she is the mother of two jazz musicians, Louis Moutin, composer and drummer, and François Moutin, composer and double bass player.
