Sabrina Mezzaqui, born in Bologna in 1964, is an Italian artist who lives and works in Marzabotto, in the province of Bologna.
Mezzaqui's works are characterized by disciplined reflection, skill in manual exercise and the use of common materials such as paper, pencil or marker drawing and cut-out pages. Writing is often present in his works, recovered or transformed, imagined or denied in the grid of a partially engraved sheet whose cuttings fall to the ground.
After graduating from the State Institute of Art in Bologna in 1985, he continued his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts, graduating in 1993.
