Bartolomeo Migliore (1960 - ) was born in Santena (Turin), on 6 November 1960. He lives and works in Turin. For Migliore, the vision of every urban landscape starts from the "words that are around", experienced and acted politically as (im)proper manifestos of supranational entities. Through the post-post-punk gallows in which the artist subjects them to a process of alchemical reduction, however, they once again crumble into perishable elements and once again live as part of a recombinatory and "magical" discourse. Painting as a fanzine has the essential function of extracting elements of tangible reality from the symbolic compression of advertising graphics.
