Anna Molinari Biography
Anna Molinari (1958 - ) is an Italian stylist, founder, together with her husband Gianpaolo Tarabini, of the Blumarine brand. The line is produced by Blufin SpA, a company owned by the family, which also owns the Anna Molinari brand and the Blugirl brand. Anna Molinari was born in 1958 in Carpi, in the province of Modena, Italy, into a family of industrialists who produced knitwear. Her mother was her teacher and muse, inspiring a love of creating clothes and teaching her sewing techniques. His daughter Rossella Tarabini now oversees the Anna Molinari collections. Born in 1968, she studied in Paris and London before taking on the project of the family home in 1995. She follows the advertising campaigns which, from the 90s to today, have involved first-rate artists such as Helmut Newton, Juergen Teller, Ellen von Unwerth and Peter Lindberg, and top models such as Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Eva Herzigova, Helena Christensen, Carla Bruni and Monica Bellucci. Anna Molinari is said to be the "queen of roses" due to her passion for these sensual flowers. Over the years she has managed to create a one-of-a-kind style through the creation of highly feminine garments with precious details.
