The artist from Piacenza, who was present in the collective 900 in Arte Confini Globali, promoted by the Re Rebaudengo Foundation (2013), draws on a vast repertoire of linguistic and iconological codes to represent, in subtle conceptual games, the oscillation between permanence and transience of ways of being and thinking. The protagonist of Moncaleano's works is the body, the scenario of a sensorial process that brings stories to the surface, enriching them with new interpretations, as in the tableaux vivants or in the installations that call the public to interact with multiple temporal levels.
