Fabio Morini Biography
Fabio Morini, born in 1941 in Viterbo, began his artistic growth in Rome by attending the Academy of Fine Arts under the guidance of W. Lazzaro and at the same time following the studio of G. Celiberti. In 1965, he was part of the group of "artists of Via Margutta" together with illustrious names such as Lamberto Ciavatta, Edolo Masci, and Alessio Paternesi, creating the most dynamic "attic group of Rome". In 1967 he exhibited in a collective exhibition in the "La Barcaccia", "Russo" galleries and in the prestigious "Shubert" in Trinità dei Monti. In 1968, he participated in the VI Biennial of Figurative Art of Rome and Lazio and obtained the Sacred Art Award - city of Palestrina. He then moved to Magenta in 1971, where he currently lives and works, and has become an important figure in the Lombard artistic environment. He has participated in numerous collective and personal exhibitions in Italy and abroad, and has been invited to appear on radio and television programmes. Fabio Morini has attracted the attention of prominent personalities in the art world such as Bonavita, Venturoli, Bencivenga, Bonatesta, Villani, Pasquali, Monteverdi, Di Genova, Portalupi, Poletti, Montenero, Vicini, De Bernardi, Gaggero, Zanotto, Merendi , Biaggi, Di Gregorio, and Falcioni.
