Morishita Keizo (Kitakyushu, 1944 - Milan, 2003) Keizo Morishita moved to Italy at the age of 19. He attended the Brera Academy and in 1968 he graduated in sculpture. Subsequently he preferred to dedicate himself to painting, developing a particular style in which he combined oriental culture with European artistic expression. He participated in numerous exhibition activities both in Italy and abroad in public and private galleries. He exhibited regularly at the Studio F.22 Gallery and occasionally returned to Japan, exhibiting in several solo shows. In 1998 he participated in an important exhibition at the Gazoldo degli Ippoliti Museum of Modern Art and two years later he received the homage of an anthology at the Galleria del Naviglio in Milan and Venice.
