Federico Moroni (1914-2000) was an elementary school teacher and painter. After the Second World War he adhered to neorealist poetics and was close to the Santarcangiolo intellectuals known as "E' circal de giudéizi", in particular Tonino Guerra. At the Bornaccino school, since 1948, with his students he experimented with a free teaching of drawing and painting, partly inspired by the most advanced pedagogical ideas of GL Radice and partly the result of his personal experience as an artist, arousing wide interest from pedagogists and intellectuals both in Italy and abroad.
