Giovanna Nascimbene Tallone Biography
Born in Casteggio (Pavia) in 1901, she lives in Milan. She attended the Civic School of Painting in Pavia, then that of the Brera Academy in Milan, where she graduated. He has exhibited at the main art exhibitions from 1923 to today, obtaining coveted recognition for his poetic form of lively feminine suggestion. He held various solo exhibitions in the major cities of Italy, in Genoa in 1942 (Gall. Genova), in Milan (Gall. Barbaroux), in Parma, in Turin and abroad in Plata, Buenos Ayres and Argentina. He has been awarded coveted prizes, the Cassani prize in Brera (Milan), the Fra Galgario Prize (Bergamo), in Verona, at the Angelicum Sacred Art Exhibition (Milan). His works appear in the Modern Art galleries of Milan, Rome and other Italian cities. Some recent exhibitions to which she was invited are listed: at the XXIV Venice Biennale (1948) she exhibited "Dry Leaves", "Self-portrait", "Composition"; at the XXV (1950) "Flower, "Apples", "Landscape".
