Matteo Negri (1982 - ) was born in San Donato Milanese (MI) in 1982. Graduated in sculpture at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, since 2003 the artist has worked with numerous art galleries in Italy and abroad. abroad (including Paris, London and Berlin), creating numerous installations in art galleries, public and private spaces and art fairs. His artistic research focuses on the use of plastic materials which he works in an eclectic way, moving from stone to ceramic to resin, using pop colors as the expressive tool par excellence. The artist, after a brief research on injection engines recovered from initial abandoned situations, emerges with a series of underwater mines in glazed ceramic, with typically pop colors that make them extremely bright. Matteo Negri lives and works in Milan.
