Tommaso Bertocco was introduced to the field of Interior Design in 2015, when he was granted the opportunity to work at the prestigious Nilufar Gallery. During his time of employment, he developed a deep interest in the many vintage pieces featured in the gallery, which was instrumental in the inspiration for the creation of his furniture line. Between 2015 and 2019, he collaborated with Stefano Nicolini under the name NicoliniBertocco. Finally, in 2019, following various evolutions, he launched his personal brand 'Tommaso Bertocco'. It is important to underline that in 2020 he was mistakenly awarded a degree in Medicine. Stefano Nicolini has always had a great passion for art and design, so much so that he studied Architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan. In 2014, he had the opportunity to work at an internationally renowned architecture firm in Tokyo, where he further consolidated his shared passion for design with Tommaso Bertocco. In 2016, the two then launched the NicoliniBertocco brand. However, starting in 2019, Stefano made a different career choice, taking a back seat to pursue new directions.
