Renato Nosek (1946 - 2018) was born in Venice but lived and worked in Bari. He is an "out of the fray" artist who has achieved notable international recognition thanks to his painting recognized as new Italian mannerism. Since 1968 his works have been exhibited in numerous exhibitions both in Italy and abroad. Many of his oil on canvas paintings are part of public and private collections. Many chalcographic works are present in editorial projects. In 1990 he joined the "Nuova Maniera Italiana" group, theorized by professor Gatt. His production is characterized by extreme attention paid to reality and epistemological research into the human condition, in the sense of the relationship between the individual and reality.
