Ornati Mario (Vigevano, 1887 - Milan, 1955) Mario Ornati attended the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan and subsequently went to Rome, where he attended the school of the painter Aristide Sartorio. In 1909 he exhibited for the first time at the International Exhibition in Rome. In 1910 and 1912 he participated in the Brera National Exhibition and in the same year in the National Exhibitions of Turin and Vercelli. In 1914 he painted an allegorical frieze for the Italian pavilion of the Ljpsia Fair and in 1914 the painting “Lago Maggiore” was purchased by the King of Italy. In 1920 he won the Milyus Prize for the fresco with the portrait of “Ghirlandaio”.
