Stefania Orrù (1976 - ) was born in Italy in 1976. Her first interest is in literature and poetry; during his university years in Urbino and Verona he discovered painting as a means of expression and it immediately assumed a central role in his life. In 1997 he moved to Umbria where he worked with the master Elvio Marchionni and where he approached frescoes and ancient icon painting. The years 2001-2009 are full of events, trips, meetings, exhibitions, which culminate in a personal exhibition with the publication of a monograph entitled "Painting and the key to being", presented in Rome in the "L'Indicatore" gallery ". Among the main events of 2013 she was called to China, to Shanghai together with five Italian artists including Alexander Kokocinsky, Zhou Zhiwei, Giovanni Tommasi Ferroni, for the "Bridge of Humiliations" and the opening of the Zhujiajiao Museum of Contemporary Art. Participates in the exhibition "Art in therapy" for the "Festival dei Due Mondi", Spoleto 56. In 2014 personal exhibition at Palazzo Medici Riccardi - Florence - organized by the Gagliardi Gallery of San Gimignano, curated by Alessandra Frosini, entitled "The enchantment of being - Material and / is Light" ("The enchantment of beign - Material and / is Light").
