Enzo Pagani (1920 – 1973) was born in Legnano, in the province of Milan, in 1920. Son of a church decorator, since he was a child he followed his father in his work and thus his vocation as a painter was born in him. He studied at the Brera Academy in Milan and was part of important artistic and cultural research movements. He was a painter, sculptor, mosaicist, as well as an art dealer. In the 40s and 50s he opened the Gallerie Pagani del Grattacielo, first in Legnano and then in Milan, in Via Brera. In his life he was involved in all research movements on a cultural and artistic, national and international level; he was a talent discoverer and a pioneer. In the 1960s he started the great adventure of the park-museum, a utopian dream that became reality through the force of love and the constancy of sacrifices of an irrepressible and irrepressible man.
