Pagni Ferruccio (Livorno, 1866 - Torre del Lago, 1935) Ferruccio Pagni studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, where he followed the courses of Giovanni Fattori, who urged him to approach painting from life. From 1887 to 1889 he exhibited at the Florentine Promotrice and soon moved away from the Farmer ancestry to move closer to the style of the Impressionists. In 1900 he was commissioned to decorate the walls of the living room-study of Villa Puccini, with frescoes representing allegories of Dawn, Sunset, Noon and Night. The artist's favorite subjects were landscapes, especially lakes with melancholy and silent atmospheres. In 1904 he decided to leave for Argentina, where he taught in a School of Fine Arts, founded by himself in Rosario di Santa Fè.
