Aldo Palazzeschi represented one of the first reasons for rupture in Italian literature of the early twentieth century. Although his name is mainly linked to works relating to the futurist genre, it is not exhaustive to place Palazzeschi in a single category. Born in 1885, he made his debut as a poet in 1905 with the booklet of verses "The White Horses". In 1909, after the publication of the third collection of verses, "Poems", which among other things brought about his friendship with Marinetti, he joined Futurism (of which Marinetti was the deus-ex-machina) and, in 1913, he began his collaborations with >, the historic magazine of that literary movement.
