Palma Ibarra Hugo (Managua, 1942) Palma attended “La Salle” Pedagogical Institute in Managua. In Italy he attended and studied medicine at the University of Florence and subsequently studied painting at the School of Ornamental Arts in San Giacomo in Rome, attending art and history courses at the Academy of San Marcos. Palma Ibarra exhibited his works at the Italo-Latin Institute in Rome, at the Magenta 52 Gallery in Milan, at the 49th edition of the Venice Biennale and at the 10th Quadrennial in Rome. In 1992 Palma-Ibarra inaugurated the Galeria El Aguila and in 2004 the Museo Fundacion Hugo Palma-Ibarra.
