Panseca Filippo (Palermo, 1940) Filippo Panseca founded the Temposud Group in 1965 and moved to Milan in 1968. He participated in the Venice Biennale, Rome Quadrennial, and Milan Triennale. Starting in 1970 he dedicated himself to biodegradable art, exhibiting at the galleries of Leo Castelli in New York, Lara Vincy in Paris, del Naviglio in Milan, dell'Obelisco in Rome. In 1975 he tried to produce works online to transmit them all over the world and in 1979 he produced and printed the first images with a computer. In 1980 he developed and printed a series of images, which he presented at the Naviglio art gallery in Milan. In 1981 he installed a photodegradable Ephemeral Victory on the hand of Canova's Napoleon in the courtyard of the Brera Academy, where he had taught since 1978. He currently directs the MediArtUniversity on the island of Pantelleria.
