Giovanni Panza (Miseno, 9 March 1894 – Naples, 20 December 1989) was an Italian painter. Born into a family of poets and painters, he was the nephew of Salvatore Postiglione and Luca Postiglione, sons of the painter Luigi Postiglione, who introduced him to painting. In addition to being a painter, Panza was, like his uncle Luca, also a poet and writer. His painting remained faithful to the romantic-naturalistic tradition, following the figurative tradition of the nineteenth-century Neapolitan school. He depicted landscapes, figures, streets, bucolic scenes, markets that he drew from the daily life of the Neapolitan neighborhoods.
