Luigi Panzeri was a sculptor born in Lomagna (LC) on January 1, 1865, and died in Milan in 1939. He was a student of Giuseppe Grandi at the Brera Academy in Milan.
In 1894, he exhibited the group "The Sick Woman" in Milan, and in 1895, he participated in the First International Art Exhibition of the City of Venice with the sculpture "The Orphan." In 1907, he created the Monument in memory of Engineer Eugenio Villoresi in Milan.
Panzeri exhibited in various national and international exhibitions, including the National Exhibition of Fine Arts in 1906 and the XIII International Art Exhibition of Venice in 1922.
He created several works for the Monumental Cemetery of Milan, including the Monument "The Divine Kiss" in 1897 and the Statue "The Mother on her Deathbed" in 1900.
