Antonio Paradiso was born in Santeramo in Colle, Bari, on 26 February 1936. He studied at the Brera Academy, Milan with Marino Marini: he had exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including in the modern art museums of Dortmund, Helsinki, Cologne, Los Angeles, Belgrade, Rimini, Verona, Ferrara, Portofino, Reggio Emilia, Alberobello. Lives and works in Milan. For twenty years he has been traveling through the Sahara deserts and tropical Africa, studying anthropology and paleo-anthropology, to integrate scientific experience with anthropological art.
