Emilio Parma was born in Monza in 1874. He was a painter who achieved many important commissions, as well as receiving important recognitions. He was also director of the Municipal School of Drawing in Monza and subsequently of the Higher School of Art. Despite his success, Parma was a discreet and shy personality, he preferred to paint landscapes and secluded places in the Park and in the countryside around Monza. Among his works you can find numerous portraits and genre scenes. The painter died in Monza in 1950.
