Antonio Pasinetti (Montichiari, 1863- Milan, 1940). He had his first apprenticeship with the painter Luigi Campini and in 1880 he enrolled at the Brera Academy. Between 1882-83 he attended the schools of the painter Napoleone Nani in Verona. In Salò he founded a School of Arts and Crafts, in this period he mainly created landscapes from life. Starting in 1889 he moved to Milan where he met the main artists of the city and began to portray the Lombard bourgeoisie. He intensifies the production of landscapes thanks also to several trips outside Milan, in particular the one to Venice is a source of inspiration. He approaches the "Novecento" artistic movement, born in Milan in 1922.
