Pavan Angelo (Vicenza, 1893-1945) Angelo Pavan was a Venetian painter who dedicated much of his artistic production to the representation of Venice and Chioggia. Initially attracted by the technique of divisionism, he subsequently approached a painting made up of large touches, made with materials and colors that he prepared himself. He was self-taught and exhibited in Brera, at the Società Permanente, at the national exhibitions in Padua and Turin, in Vienna, Prague and Lausanne. Many of his works are preserved in the Gallery of Modern Art in Milan.
