Giorgio Pegoli was born in Senigallia in 1938. In the mid-1970s, he began making his first reportages and became a photojournalist known throughout the world. During his long career, he documented the drama of war on over fifty trips to every part of the world. He often risked his life to take images that tell the drama of war. Pegoli was able to introduce observers into a parallel dimension, explaining each photo and immersing the visitor in the war environment in which the situations for those wonderful shots were created. All his photos, rigorously taken with an analogue system, were created with skilful film work. Despite the difficulties encountered in these contexts, Pegoli managed to capture images of great quality and large dimensions which enhance his great skills as a professional in the sector.
