Eso Peluzzi, born in 1894 in Cairo Montenotte, studied at the Albertina Academy in Turin. He subsequently moved to the Savona Sanctuary where he developed his pointillist and austere style, focused on rural life. He exhibited for the first time in 1920 at the Promotrice di Torino and regularly participated in the exhibitions of the Promotrice Genovese. He was reported by Carlo Carrà in an article in L'Ambrosiano and introduced him to the Novecento group supported by Margherita Sarfatti, who invited him in 1926 to the XV Venice Biennale, an event in which he took part until 1948. He was also named academic of merit of the Linguistic Academy. His works are present in various Italian art galleries, including: Gallery of Modern Art in Florence, at the Galleria dell'Accademia di San Luca in Rome and at the National Gallery of Modern Art, also in Rome. Eso Peluzzi died on 17 May 1985 in Monchiero.
