Peppe Romano was a self-taught sculptor and painter, as well as a journalist. He was born in Caulonia (RC) on November 30, 1920 and moved to Rome in 1930. He lived in Anzio (RM) from 1991 to 2009. He gained his cultural education by attending the Classical High School Pontificio S. Apollinare and the Faculty of Architecture.
He taught special Sculpture courses for many years at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Frosinone and was a Professor of Sculpture at the accredited academy in Viterbo. Romano created works in terracotta, ceramics, wood, stone, marble, and precious metals, always molded in Italy and placed both in Italy and abroad. He passed away on November 20, 2009.
