Roberto Perotti began his pictorial activity in 1980. Graduated in philosophy, psychologist and psychotherapist, he is the author of two books on psychotherapeutic theory and practice. His initiation into interest and pictorial practice occurred through frequenting Oreste Bogliardi, one of the founders of abstractionism in Italy. At the time in the Tigullio there was a vital artistic literary group of which Bogliardi himself, the sculptor Cherchi, the writer Nino Palumbo, the painter and sculptor Franco Bagnasco and others were an authoritative part. Subsequently, from Edoardo Krumm he learned the use of enamels, of which Krumm is a very wise and passionate interpreter, enamels that allow particular mixing effects, impossible with other pictorial materials. Furthermore, some works executed with acrylics confer a peculiar serenity to the urban representations of an artistic season located between the years 1997-2003.
