Francesco Petrollo, born in Palermo in 1948, attended the Sculpture course at the city's Art Institute. Subsequently, he obtained the qualification to teach drawing and art history.

Francesco Petrollo, born in Palermo in 1948, attended the Sculpture course at the city's Art Institute. Subsequently, he obtained the qualification to teach drawing and art history.
From a young age, he opened a ceramic workshop in Palermo and in 1969 he moved to Milan, before moving to Brescia. In 1970 he made his debut in a collective exhibition at the Palazzo Comunale in Ponte di Legno. In 1998 he took part in the artistic event "Albisola SpiaggiArte" and in 1999 he also took part in "Sailing towards 2000". Currently, Petrollo resides and works in Berlin.
