Riccardo Pezzoli was born in Leno in the province of Brescia on 17 May 1940; In 1962 he graduated from the artistic high school of Venice and, in 1968, completed his studies at the BB academy. AA. of Brera in the painting section, with professors Domenico Cantatore (painting) and Guido Ballo (art history). He teaches artistic disciplines at middle schools, vocational institutes and art high schools. After having attended the International Chalcography and Lithography Courses in Urbino, since 1983 he has dedicated himself to experimenting with original lithography on stone, creating the lithographic editions “The Egyptian Obelisk of Urbino” and “Pietra su Pietra.” In 1986 he joined the artistic group “Esprit de Finesse” which arose the same year in Brescia.
