Emilio Pian was born in Rome in 1956. He lives and works in the province of Treviso. After his artistic studies he developed his own artistic-expressive language in the informal sphere. Initially he builds a system of signs that translate the most secret emotions and reflections on everyday life and history onto paper and canvas. Subsequently he orients his research towards matter, form and space, using elements such as steel, aluminium, lead and iron to construct geometric-spatial figures projected into three-dimensionality. His works are part of Italian and foreign collections. He has participated in numerous personal and collective exhibitions.
