Born in Verona in 1946, where he lives and works. A colourist by vocation, he began painting his first paintings in 1972, almost immediately showing great interest in abstract art. He won the Burano prize in 1976. He attended a course in advertising graphics in 1978. In 1979 he executed a large mural for the Central Station of Verona. In 1987 he was invited to exhibit a series of works on paper at the City University of Chicago. In 1989 the America-Italy Society in New York hosted him in a large studio on Broadway where he executed 37 works subsequently exhibited in two solo exhibitions. In 1991, at the invitation of the Soviet Minister of Culture, he held a large solo exhibition at the Arbat Gallery in Moscow. He holds a conference on color in the same city. In 1997 he was commissioned a series of large frescoes for the new Camploy Theater in Verona. Two films were shot about his work: the first in New York, in the Broadway studio, in 1989, the second in Moscow, on the occasion of the exhibition held at the Arbat gallery, in 1991.
